Therapeutic Relationship

I love the work I do and I believe the therapeutic relationship to be a powerful component for long-lasting change. My goal with therapy is to provide you with a supportive environment, while equipping you with tools for self-compassion, self-insight, developing self-care, and strategies for maintain positive changes in your life. Whether you’re coping with post-partum adjustment, infertility or loss, coping with the typical challenges of parenting, or growing your family through foster care and adoption, I am here for you.

Client-centered

I work to provide supportive, client-focused treatment to meet your and your family’s unique needs. I strive to be empathetic, non-judgmental and accepting of what you are going through. I incorporate several evidence-based practice perspectives including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, attachment therapy and person-centered therapy. I aim to meet you where you’re at and provide the combination of styles that best serves you.

Children

Play therapy and creative expression, along with traditional talk therapies, help children and teens develop healthy coping skills, improve communication and problem-solving abilities, understand their feelings, and build self-esteem.

Services

Individual

During individual therapy sessions, clients have the opportunity to meet in a private setting to openly discuss their emotions, thoughts, and actions. We will work together to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, acquire effective coping skills, and embark on a journey towards healing and personal growth.

Couples    

Couples therapy offers a space for partners to address issues within their relationship, improve communication, and deepen intimacy. The therapist facilitates constructive dialogue, encourages understanding, and supports the development of healthier patterns.

  • Pricing is based on both the project's scope and your desired timeline. (I promise fair rates and will always require your approval before we begin).

  • Timelines depend on the project, but I generally dedicate up to a month to each client, with the possibility of an extension based on my availability.
